Verisoft has completed a Multos EMV card issuing project in ABN Amro, Pakistan. Provided solution contains Verisoft PowerEMV, Thales P3 and Verisoft Multos software components. CIM Combi 1000 embosser is used in the system.
The project has been completed in less than 7 weeks.
In Pakistan, ABN AMRO was established in 1948 and was the first foreign bank to be granted a license by the Government of Pakistan.
ABN AMRO is placed and well positioned as one of the larger foreign banks in Pakistan. It has posted pre-tax profits of nearly PKR 1.3 Billion in 2003, and the ROE of almost 44% is amongst the highest in its peer group.
